## Description

Archiving F/T is a brand that organizes the Festival/Tokyo (F/T), a stage arts festival that brings together people and urban environments. With its mission to facilitate effective operations, the F/T executive committee has integrated with the Tokyo Festival executive committee, the organizers of Tokyo Festival since 2016. The 12-year journey of F/T came to an end with the Festival/Tokyo20 held in the autumn of 2020. However, the festival's supporting organizations, including Toshima City and the Toshima Mirai Cultural Foundation, as well as Art Network Japan, will continue to contribute to the further development of performing arts in the Ikebukuro area of Toshima, Tokyo. Looking ahead, Archiving F/T will continue to showcase the past performances through a limited-time web archive and video selection, along with symposiums and other related events from summer to winter 2021, providing a bridge between the past and future. Additionally, the program directed by F/T18-20 directors, Kaku Nagajima and Chika Kawai, will be featured as an official program of Tokyo Festival 2021, ensuring the continuation of F/T's philosophy.
