## Description

Festival delle Storie is a cultural festival organized by an association for social promotion and rooted in the Valle di Comino in Lazio, Italy. Founded in 2009, it has grown from an initial event in San Donato Val di Comino into a travelling festival that brings stories and cultural activities to towns across the valley. Its 2026 edition runs from 23 to 29 August, with events in San Donato, Gallinaro, Settefrati, Casalvieri, Picinisco, Alvito and Atina. The program brings together writers, journalists, artists and scholars, exploring themes inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures, including nature, memory, time and change. The festival makes use of the area’s squares, historic buildings and village streets, connecting cultural experiences with local heritage and community life. Its website shares event programs, workshop information, articles, festival contributions and stories about partner organizations. Visitors can also find information about festival locations and how to reach them.
