About

Description

Les Festivals de Wallonie | Charleroi is an essential player in the music scene in Wallonia, Belgium. Born in 1971 from the union of several festivals, including Stavelot, Liège, Saint-Hubert, Namur, and Hainaut, the federation has since expanded to include Musiq3, the Brussels branch. In 2019, they introduced a new festival concept in Brabant Wallon, focusing on the region's cultural realities and collaboration with local artists.

From June to October, Les Festivals de Wallonie | Charleroi organizes around 150 concerts and activities throughout Wallonia and Brussels, attracting over 40,000 spectators. While their main audience comprises classical music enthusiasts, the festivals aim to engage diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds, catering to both seasoned music lovers and curious newcomers. Additionally, they actively reach out to more vulnerable groups, offering accessible shows for individuals with disabilities and collaborating with associations for donation-based ticket initiatives.

Les Festivals de Wallonie | Charleroi's program includes a variety of concerts and musical theater performances for families, ensuring an inclusive and enriching experience for all. With their commitment to bringing music closer to people, they continue to inspire and captivate audiences while fostering cultural diversity and artistic collaboration
