## Description

Festival Mar Abierto is an annual concert series in the Canary Islands, bringing national and international artists to audiences across Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and other islands. Celebrating 20 years in 2026, the festival presents a varied programme spanning popular music, singer-songwriters, and live performance. Featured artists include José Mercé, Ainhoa Arteta, Baby, Casal Light, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Vega, This Is Michael, Pablo López, Víctor Manuel, Sole Giménez, and Marta Sánchez.

Alongside its concerts, Festival Mar Abierto supports the region’s music scene by inviting emerging artists and bands based in the Canary Islands to submit their work for an opportunity to be discovered, promoted, and showcased. The festival’s website provides concert information and ticket access, as well as options to buy packages combining flights, hotel accommodation, and tickets. Visitors can also find festival news, contact the organisers, and subscribe to a newsletter. Festival Mar Abierto is produced by Mar Abierto Productions, SL, and its programme offers audiences a way to enjoy live music across several of the Canary Islands.
