This annual festival honors the local heritage centered around buckwheat, a significant natural resource. With an array of family-friendly activities, attendees can enjoy delightful tastings of traditional buckwheat pancakes, participate in a lively folkloric parade, and experience performances from talented local artists. Established in 1978, the festival has grown into a pivotal event that not only showcases local craftsmanship and regional products but also boosts the local economy. It was initially inspired by a series of community dinners celebrating buckwheat, which gained popularity and evolved into what we see today. The festival serves as a platform for enhancing the reputation of buckwheat, once thought of as a humble food, now celebrated by thousands of visitors each year. Join us in Louiseville to partake in this cherished tradition and create unforgettable memories! ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Holidays and Seasonal Events _(under Community and Society)_ - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - ✈️ Travel and Tourism - ✈️ Tourist Attractions _(under Travel and Tourism)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/FestivalGaletteSarrasin) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/festsarrasin) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCqFMFMwh/w/300/h/300/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1757031852007) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCqFMFMwh/w/801/h/800/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1757031852248) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Pizza | #c88b11 | accent | | Spice | #6f2e2c | dark | | Peach Yellow | #f8dcac | light | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
