## Description

Festival Slunovrat is a multi-genre cultural festival based in Opava, bringing music, arts and community activities to the city’s historic centre. Its programme combines live performances with cultural events, gastronomic specialities, workshops and exhibitions, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and a broad range of visitors. The festival presents itself as more than a music event, offering opportunities to explore different forms of culture and spend time together in a historic urban setting.

The main Festival Slunovrat is scheduled for 17–19 June 2027, with programme information and tickets available online. The organisers also run Slunovrat Winter Edition, a series of concerts and events in November 2026. Featured performers include The Klezmatics, Robert Křesťan & Druhá tráva, Rufus Miller, Chyba systému and Stud Ford. In addition, the festival’s “Evenings with Slunovrat” programme offers further events throughout the year. Through its seasonal editions and varied line-up, Festival Slunovrat connects local audiences with Czech and international artists while celebrating culture in Opava.
