## Description

Festive Brass of Myrtle Beach is a volunteer brass band founded in 1998, bringing musicians together with the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand communities through performances that honor veterans, past and present. Its music draws on America’s musical heritage, with traditional marches, patriotic tunes, military service anthems, big band hits, and other brass band selections.

The band performs at ceremonial events and presents themed seasonal concerts throughout the region, including Christmas performances. Its Memorial Day program combines a morning ceremony honoring local veterans with an evening concert of remembrance, gratitude, and patriotic music. The Celebrate America Concert Series offers festive performances featuring patriotic music. Concerts are open to the public free of charge.

Festive Brass also shares recordings and concert selections through its website, including material from its 2023 Memorial Day concert. Community support and donations help the band continue its mission of honoring veterans and pursuing excellence in brass band music.
