## Description

Festkomitee der Stadt Kerpen e.V. is an umbrella organization for carnival traditions and activities in Kerpen, Germany. Founded in 1980, it brings together numerous local carnival societies and supports the customs, events, and community life associated with the season. Its website introduces the committee’s presidium, sponsors, senates, literary committee, member societies, and history, including records of Kerpen’s Stadtdreigestirne across several decades. The Stadtdreigestirn, formed by the Prince, Bauer, and Jungfrau, is a central part of the organization’s carnival program.

The committee shares information about seasonal highlights such as the session opening, the proclamation of the Stadtdreigestirn, and the handover of the carnival float. Its event calendar also lists activities hosted by the committee and its affiliated societies, including meetings and other carnival celebrations from autumn through winter. Visitors can explore galleries, news, and event materials, as well as learn about participating clubs from Kerpen and neighboring communities. The site serves as a central source of information for local carnival events and organized efforts to preserve regional traditions.
