## Description

Festus is a transdisciplinary street arts festival that brings music, theater, circus, dance, and visual arts to the streets. The festival aims to showcase contemporary proposals that spark curiosity and invite us to be restless. This year, the focus is on street arts in a time dominated by individualism, reclaiming the street as a common space. Drawing from Roman concepts of common ownership, Festus challenges the notion of what can belong to whom. The festival questions what is common in our world today, including culture, history, and knowledge. Authors like Silvia Federici advocate for an economy where resources are distributed equally and sustainably. Festus encourages reflection on the management of common goods to prevent privatization and promote free distribution. Experience the diversity and creativity of street arts at Festus on May 24th and 25th, 2024. Stay updated with Festus by registering for the newsletter or following them on social media.
