## Description

The Comité des Fêtes de Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses is a local events organization based in Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses, in France’s Yonne department. Its annual highlight is a large pyromusical fireworks show staged at the historic site of the town’s seven old locks, drawing as many as 20,000 spectators. The event combines fireworks, music, sound and lighting, with contributions from professional production teams, performers and volunteer crews. Its programme also includes festival entertainment and a themed spectacle; the 2026 edition featured a musical journey inspired by major festivals around the world. The committee coordinates practical arrangements such as visitor access, parking and food service, supported by volunteers and local safety and emergency teams. It shares event updates and provides a contact form for enquiries, with reservations announced when available. Alongside its event activities, the committee promotes a fundraising campaign to help preserve and restore Saint-Loup Church in Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses. Through public celebrations and community initiatives, it brings visitors together while supporting local heritage.
