## Description

Feux Follets Bernes-sur-Oise is a running club founded in 1999 by local enthusiasts in Bernes-sur-Oise, in the Val-d’Oise region of France. Affiliated with UFOLEP, the association brings together runners who enjoy exercise, friendly company and the challenge of competition. Members train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings, with occasional Sunday sessions for race preparation. Routes change with the seasons, from local streets in winter to the forests of Carnelle and L’Isle-Adam in spring.

The club welcomes different goals, whether running for leisure, maintaining physical and mental fitness, or pursuing competitive ambitions. Its members take part in road races ranging from 7 kilometres to marathons and 100-kilometre events, as well as trail races and ultras. Feux Follets also organizes two annual events: the Trail des Étangs and the Tour de Bernes, a 5- and 10-kilometre road race. The club additionally volunteers at the Paris Marathon and La Parisienne. Its guiding values are conviviality, mutual support, friendship and good humour.
