# FFG-Goettingen - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ffg-goettingen.de` ## Description The Flugwissenschaftliche Fachgruppe Göttingen (FFG Göttingen) is a registered aviation club affiliated with the German Aero Club. Its statutory purpose is to promote young people’s interest in aviation science, and it welcomes anyone interested in aviation, particularly gliding. The club is an officially recognized glider-pilot training organization. Its membership also includes motor-glider, powered-aircraft and ultralight pilots. FFG operates the Weper, described as the oldest gliding airfield in southern Lower Saxony. Located between Moringen-Nienhagen and Fredelsloh, the site was identified for gliding in 1927 by members of the club’s predecessor group, FLAVAG. The club’s headquarters, including a well-equipped workshop, are on the grounds of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where members meet on Thursday evenings. The FFG website shares information about the club’s history, the Weper flying site, training and activities, as well as photographs, videos and contact details. The association provides a community for aspiring and experienced pilots to learn, take part in flying and pursue their aviation interests. ## Industries - 🏎 Vehicles - 🏎 Aviation _(under Vehicles)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddKnheFY1/w/180/h/176/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793397106935) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | International Klein Blue | #0930c4 | accent | | Woodsmoke | #0e0f11 | dark | | Submarine | #b5bec3 | light | ## Fonts - Alata — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
