## Description

The Ligue FFME Réunion is the regional organization of the French Federation of Mountain and Climbing, supporting climbing and canyoning across Réunion. It brings together clubs, athletes and practitioners, with activities spanning recreational participation, competition and high-performance sport. The league provides information on how to join or find a club, affiliate an organization, and practise safely, alongside guidance on violence prevention and accessible para-climbing.

For climbers and canyoning enthusiasts, the league shares competition calendars, results, regulations, natural-site information, route guides and safety resources. It also offers details on events, interclub activities and ways to report information about climbing and canyoning sites. Training is another central service: members can explore federal certificates, passports and professional qualifications, as well as calendars for courses and other learning opportunities.

The league supports regional athletes through development groups, training structures and pathways toward national and international competition. It also coordinates initiatives with partners, clubs and sports organizations, helping advance athlete development, para-climbing and the wider practice of mountain and climbing sports on the island.
