## Description

The Association des Sauveteurs Secouristes de la Côtière (ASSC), also known as FFSS 01, is a first-aid and rescue association based in Montluel, France. Affiliated with the French Federation of First Aid and Rescue (FFSS) and approved for civil security activities, it helps people develop practical emergency-response skills and supports safety at public events.

The association offers first-aid training for both beginners and more experienced participants. Its courses include Premiers Secours Citoyen (PSC) and Premiers Secours en Équipe de niveau 1 (PSE1). Young people aged 15 to 25 with a Pass’Région may be able to access PSC training free of charge; the association invites interested individuals and groups to enquire about sessions.

ASSC also provides first-aid teams and posts for events, helping organisers request the appropriate support. People interested in volunteering can apply to join and take part in event assignments, whether they are students, employed, seeking work, or retired. The association shares information about its courses and activities through its website and direct contact in Montluel.
