## Description

The International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) is an international organization dedicated to photography and artistic exchange. Its website describes FIAP as the only international photography organization affiliated with UNESCO. It brings together members from different countries and supports photographers, clubs, and national delegations through events, competitions, education, and recognition.

FIAP organizes biennials every two years, with categories including monochrome, color, nature, and youth photography, as well as an annual Club World Cup for photography clubs worldwide. It also approves photographic salons and highlights notable authors and works, including recipients of the Master Photographer distinction, described as its highest photographic honor.

The organization’s activities include congresses, photography meetings, exhibitions, online events, training, and a photography academy. Its services cover areas such as youth participation, medals, awards, and audiovisual activities. FIAP also publishes books and news, shares galleries and collections, and provides information about its history, regulations, membership, and international programs. Together, these offerings promote photography and connections among photographers across countries.
