## Description

The KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour is an international touring car competition and the pinnacle of the TCR category. Launched in 2023 by WSC, it brings together professional drivers with international experience and competitors from regional and national TCR series, giving teams and drivers the opportunity to compete at a global level. From the 2024 season, the competition was elevated to FIA status.

The series is built around the central TCR principle of using the same race car across all TCR-sanctioned competitions worldwide. This shared format supports collaboration between the World Tour and regional and national series, while connecting their competitors within a broader international platform. The championship features a calendar of race events at circuits across multiple countries and publishes news, standings, videos, photographs, event information and official documents for fans, teams and media. It also provides details about television coverage, media accreditation and newsletter registration. Through its races and digital coverage, the KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour showcases touring car competition and the drivers and teams participating in the TCR community.
