## Description

FIDAE, the International Air and Space Fair, is a Chilean exhibition dedicated to showcasing technologies in aerospace, defense, and security. The event positions Chile as a regional reference in these fields and highlights the Chilean Air Force’s role in space technology and its contribution to national development. FIDAE brings together exhibitors, professional and official delegations, participating countries, aircraft, and visitors, offering a platform for industry presentation and engagement. Its program includes an exhibitor catalog, news and event coverage, and information for attendees. The fair also shares updates through FIDAE News Daily and FIDAE News Digital. Sustainability is part of its public focus: coverage of the 2026 event describes an initiative that recycled organic restaurant waste into compost for visitors. FIDAE’s 2028 edition is scheduled for April 4–9, and the organization has presented it as the 25th edition, beginning the lead-up to its 50-year history. Based in Pudahuel, Santiago, FIDAE serves as a showcase for aerospace, defense, and security developments in Latin America.
