## Description

Fig & Owl Studio is the pottery practice of artist DeAnna Steiner, whose handcrafted ceramics bring together modern and organic influences in an eclectic style. The studio creates functional and decorative pieces, including vases and other pottery designed to be treasured rather than treated as disposable. Its work reflects Steiner’s belief that handmade objects carry stories of creativity and human experience. New work for 2026 features soothing colors and soft forms.

Steiner began her pottery journey in 1999 and opened Fig & Owl Studio in 2020 to focus on making objects by hand and sharing the creative experience with others. The studio offers pottery for purchase online and in person, with work also available through stores, galleries, and stockists. It hosts workshops and classes for people interested in exploring clay, finding a hands-on creative outlet, or enjoying an activity with a friend. Beginners are welcome at its workshops, which include seasonal projects such as Christmas tree luminaries for adults and youth.
