## Description

Filantro First is an Indian manufacturer of crosslapped spunlace non-woven fabric, supplying material for a range of industrial and consumer applications. Its production process uses high-pressure water jets to entangle loose fibres, creating fabric with strength in different directions. The company describes its facility as India’s first production unit capable of producing 6,000 metric tonnes of crosslapped spunlace fabric with a width of 3.2 metres.

Filantro First serves customers across the automotive, medical, hygiene, wipes, beauty and cosmetics, and artificial leather industries. Spunlace fabrics are also used in wet wipes, personal care products, and industrial and medical wipes. The company highlights its integrated facilities and broad capabilities as the foundation for providing comprehensive material solutions, with consumer wellbeing and sustainability among its stated priorities.

Through its business areas, Filantro First focuses on versatile spunlace materials designed for varied applications. The brand presents spunlace as an adaptable, evolving non-woven fabric, responding to changing market needs through developments in technology, equipment, and finishing processes.
