## Description

Latvijas Banka is set to unveil the "Bērnu prieki" collection coin on Thursday, 4 July, dedicated to celebrating writer Viļis Plūdonis' 150th birthday. The coin features two beloved children's poems - "Zaķīšu pirtiņa" and "Rūķīši un Mežavecis", bringing joy to both children and adults, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Plūdonis’ children's poetry is deeply rooted in Latvian folklore, inspired by the beauty of Latvian nature and the joy of childhood.

Additionally, Latvijas Pasts is releasing a new stamp block honoring prominent Latvian artist Jāzeps Grosvalds. The first day of issue will be on 14 June at the Elizabetes Street post office in Riga. With a focus on cultural and artistic figures, these offerings showcase Latvia's rich heritage and creativity in a unique and collectible way.
