## Description

Woodside Energy is a leading global energy company headquartered in Australia, dedicated to providing reliable and affordable energy solutions that enhance the quality of life for communities worldwide. Founded 35 years ago, Woodside pioneered the liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector in Australia and has since evolved into a more substantial international entity through strategic expansions, including a merger with BHP's petroleum business.

The company operates across three key pillars: oil, gas, and new energy, which collectively play a vital role in addressing the world's energy demands. Woodside’s significant projects include the North West Shelf and Pluto LNG operations, as well as the Scarborough and Sangomar initiatives that focus on natural gas extraction and sustainable energy development.

Driven by innovation and commitment to sustainability, Woodside prioritizes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards in all its operations, aiming to contribute positively to both the economy and the global energy transition. With a strong ethos of transparency and community engagement, Woodside continues to lead the charge in the evolving energy landscape.
