## Description

Filmby Aarhus is a creative business park in the Sydhavnen district of Aarhus, bringing together more than 80 companies and educational organisations working in film, television, games and animation across western Denmark. It provides commercial premises and production facilities, including studios and meeting rooms, for creative businesses and professionals. Beyond providing space and infrastructure, Filmby Aarhus works through projects and partnerships to support the development of the screen and games industries. It also houses the West Danish Film Fund, which supports film and series productions in Jutland.

Filmby Aarhus connects industry professionals, creators, students and audiences through events and initiatives. It hosts activities such as masterclasses and contributes to Aarhus Series & Film Festival, a festival dedicated to both series and film, featuring screenings, conversations, debates and the Series Awards. The organisation shares news about its community, businesses, events and projects through LinkedIn and a newsletter. Part of the City of Aarhus’s Culture and Citizens Services administration, Filmby Aarhus serves as a hub for collaboration, production and creative industry development.
