## Description

Filmfonds Wien, the Vienna Film Fund, is the City of Vienna’s film-funding agency and a partner to Austria’s film industry and creative professionals. As a centre of expertise for audiovisual production, it supports cultural activity, economic development and employment through funding for film and related projects. Its programmes include support for feature-film production, project development, television projects and emerging filmmakers through Talent LAB. The fund publishes application guidelines, deadlines and decisions, and provides an online submission system for applicants. It also promotes Vienna as a filming location, sharing information about the city and filming in Vienna, and presents local film-related opportunities, including training and the Wiener Filmpreis. Its film catalogue highlights productions connected with its work, while news, publications and press materials keep audiences and industry professionals informed. Funded titles featured on its website span documentaries, dramas and other cinematic works, including Atmosphere, Gentle Monster and The Stories. Through its funding and industry resources, Filmfonds Wien helps audiovisual projects develop and connects filmmakers with Vienna’s cultural and production environment.
