## Description

The Film Poster Gallery, based in Sumner, Christchurch, is New Zealand's premier supplier of authentic movie posters and vintage film memorabilia from around the globe. With over 25 years of dedication, the gallery focuses on curating, preserving, and displaying original film advertising material, ranging from stunning hand-drawn posters to rare lobby cards and programs. The passion for cinema sparked a journey of restoration and appreciation for iconic titles, connecting film buffs and art lovers alike with timeless pieces of pop culture.

Their collection not only features duplicates available for purchase but also highlights unique artworks that evoke nostalgia, such as Roger Kastel’s legendary 'Jaws' poster. Beyond selling, The Film Poster Gallery undertakes the valuable mission of rescuing lost works, offering restoration services for neglected pieces found in attics and basements. With an aim to keep the history of cinema alive, they create conversations around these beautifully crafted works that once served as disposable advertisements, enriching the lives of those who cherish the magic of film.
