## Description

Filosofisk Poliklinikk is an independent think tank connected to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bergen. For 25 years, it has provided an open meeting place for people interested in the paradoxes, dilemmas and ethical questions within medical thought and practice. The organisation has held more than 200 public debate meetings, courses and seminars, bringing together participants to explore issues that matter to medicine and society.

Its approach is based on dialogue, attentive listening and curiosity, encouraging candid conversations among people seeking knowledge. Alongside its public events, Filosofisk Poliklinikk offers Åpen Poliklinikk, an exploratory forum for medical and philosophical questions. These gatherings invite participants to reflect together in person, without a fixed agenda, and to shape discussion through contributions from different fields, generations and roles.

The organisation also shares resources including podcast and video content, blog posts and recordings of past meeting series. Through these activities, Filosofisk Poliklinikk fosters thoughtful exchange, constructive criticism and shared learning.
