## Description

FIMET, short for Fabbrica Italiana Motori Elettrici Torino, is an Italian manufacturer of electric motors and power transmission equipment, with a history dating back to 1910. The company designs and produces its products at its facility in Bra, Italy, carrying out the manufacturing stages in-house and emphasizing Italian production and quality materials. Its range includes three-phase asynchronous motors, medium-voltage and water-cooled motors, generators, high-slip and ATEX motors, cast-iron and aluminium models, and brake motors. FIMET also supplies coaxial, parallel-shaft, right-angle and worm gear reducers, along with inverters ranging from standard control systems to vector drives and motor-mounted units. The company offers product customization and says it can deliver a finished product ready for installation in four weeks. Its motors are covered by a warranty of up to 48 months. FIMET serves varied industrial applications, including marble machinery, steelworks, oil and gas, tunnelling, railways, food and beverage production, pumped-storage dams, cranes and wind generators. It also provides industrial metalwork and automation services.
