## Description

FIND works to accelerate equitable access to reliable diagnosis, addressing testing gaps that put people at risk from preventable and treatable illnesses. In partnership with countries, WHO and global health agencies, it supports disease surveillance, global health security and universal health coverage. FIND is a WHO Collaborating Centre for Laboratory Strengthening and Diagnostic Technology Evaluation.

Its health programmes cover tuberculosis, malaria, HIV and hepatitis, antimicrobial resistance, neglected tropical diseases, women’s health, non-communicable diseases and pandemic threats. FIND supports diagnostic research and innovation through target product profiles, technology reviews and evaluations, and biobank services. It also provides technical assistance, laboratory strengthening, diagnostic network design and optimization, market and landscape insights, and policy guidance.

FIND shares tools and resources including data dashboards, a virtual biobank directory, a test directory and DxConnect, a platform that connects stakeholders. Its data and AI work includes a framework for AI-based diagnostics. Through advocacy, education and training, publications and collaboration, FIND works to make diagnostics more accessible and strengthen resilient health systems.
