## Description

Finding Rainbows is a UK bereavement charity established by people with personal understanding of the loss of a baby or child. Based in Tameside, Greater Manchester, it supports individuals and families locally, across the UK and further afield who are coping with the death of a baby or child, including loss during early pregnancy. The charity recognises that bereavement can bring complex needs and works with other community organisations to help people access additional support. Referrals are welcomed from organisations such as GP services and hospitals, as well as directly from individuals and families.

Finding Rainbows offers tailored support and projects, alongside access to a support team and counselling services. Its work also includes Upon Angels Wings, information and updates, stories and testimonies, annual events, and resources for talking about loss. The charity involves volunteers and student counsellors, and welcomes people who wish to volunteer or support its work. Finding Rainbows provides information about its services sensitively, acknowledging that some website content may be difficult for bereaved visitors.
