## Description

Fine Art Society is an online art gallery based in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia, specialising in Australian and international artworks for sale on the secondary market. The gallery aims to build long-term relationships with clients and offers a selection of works by established and historically significant artists. Examples featured include paintings by Millicent Hambidge and Herbert Reginald Gallop, as well as a hand-coloured woodcut by Thea Proctor. Fine Art Society guarantees the authenticity of the artworks listed on its website and offers viewing by appointment in Melbourne for clients who wish to see a work before purchasing.

Research and scholarship are central to the gallery’s approach. It maintains an extensive reference library and has helped rediscover previously lost works of art, alongside a commitment to reassessing artists who may have been overlooked. For people looking to sell, Fine Art Society considers both outright purchases and consignment arrangements. The gallery also welcomes enquiries about individual artworks, offers appointments, and provides a mailing list for updates on new acquisitions and other news.
