Initially, Firebrand started with two does as backyard milkers from herds that were CAE negative and CL free. Over time, their passion for showing goats grew, and they became regular participants at local shows. The brand's name change to Firebrand was a reflection of the new life they had built together after the fire.

While focused on producing goats that excel in the show ring, Firebrand is also dedicated to preserving the unique qualities of Nigerian Dwarf goats. They prioritize breeding for high milk production with high butterfat content, making them ideal for small hobby farms and pet owners. Despite limited space for their small herd, Firebrand is committed to making incremental improvements to the breed.
