## Description

Fireflies Early Learning is a family-owned childcare and early education provider serving families in Cooroy and Alexandra Hills, Queensland. Its centres offer warm, nature-inspired spaces where children can feel safe, build relationships, and learn through play, exploration, and purposeful activities. The approach recognises each child’s individual interests, strengths, and developmental needs, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, confidence, and connection with the wider community.

Programs support children from babies through toddler and pre-kindergarten stages to kindergarten. Experiences are designed to nurture wellbeing and development, including language, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional skills. The government-approved kindergarten program helps prepare children for school, and the website also refers to free kindergarten. Children benefit from indoor and outdoor environments, healthy meals, rest, and hands-on opportunities to learn about sustainability.

Qualified, passionate educators work closely with families to create supportive partnerships and welcoming routines. Fireflies also provides information for families about school transition and the Child Care Subsidy. Families can book a tour to explore either centre and learn more about its programs and approach.
