## Description

Firmakaproning is a team-building rowing event hosted by the rowing clubs “Ved Verdens Ende” in Sønderborg, Denmark. It invites companies, institutions, associations and informal groups to compete in crew races, offering colleagues a lively opportunity to work together beyond the workplace. Teams race on a course approximately 500 metres long, with each heat taking around three minutes. Participants are guaranteed at least two races, and qualifying and repechage heats provide routes to the semifinals. The event welcomes women’s, men’s and mixed teams, subject to specific crew-composition rules. Training is part of the experience, and participants must be able to swim at least 300 metres; life jackets are required during training. When local clubs cannot provide enough training capacity, sessions may be arranged with nearby rowing clubs. Beyond the racing, Firmakaproning encourages team spirit through cheering and costumes, with prizes also available. The website provides registration information, event rules, FAQs and contact details, and promotes sponsor opportunities and Facebook updates, including live coverage on race day.
