## Description

First City Records is an independent record store serving the Mid-Ohio Valley from its shop at 177 Front Street in Marietta, Ohio. Founded by Aaron W. during the pandemic, the business began in the basement of a former shoe store and grew with support from local customers. Today, it offers a broad selection for music fans and collectors, with new and used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, vintage clothing, collectibles, memorabilia, turntables, and accessories. The store also highlights local and regional artists through its own First City Record Label, featuring releases by acts including The Greens, Jake Dunn, and Cutler Station. Customers can browse upcoming releases and pre-order selected new titles, while the store’s premium used records are ultrasonically cleaned and professionally graded according to Goldmine standards. First City Records is open seven days a week and offers local pickup to help customers save on orders. In addition to its retail shop, the brand features First City LIVE! and a podcast, and welcomes customer requests and inquiries by phone or email.
