## Description

FirstLight Power is a clean energy company focused on supporting the transition to a reliable, lower-carbon energy system. Its work includes operating energy projects, developing new energy resources, and advancing hybrid energy solutions. The company’s portfolio includes hydroelectric generation and pumped hydro energy storage, including the Northfield Mountain facility, which can help support a clean energy economy. FirstLight also manages project licensing and shares information about water management and permits.

Beyond energy, FirstLight works to care for the lands and waterways connected to its projects. It stewards more than 14,000 acres of land and hundreds of miles of shoreline, while providing recreation opportunities at natural spaces where visitors can hike, bike, ski, camp, and enjoy the outdoors. Its community activities include partnerships, research and education, and support for host communities. With teams working across engineering, operations, development, communications, and other fields, FirstLight brings together expertise and community engagement to help advance the energy transition. The company operates in the United States and Canada.
