The Irish Fiscal Advisory Council is an independent statutory body that serves as Ireland's budgetary watchdog. Comprised of a five-member part-time Council and a full-time staff, known as the Secretariat, the Council's purpose is to provide an independent assessment of various aspects of Irish budgetary policy.
