## Description

Talsperrenfischerei Edersee, operated by Thomas Hennig KG, is a family-run inland fishery and supplier of healthy stocking fish based at the Edersee in Germany. The fishery dates back to 1920 and today specializes in catching and trading wild fish from inland lakes, as well as supplying fish produced for stocking waters across Europe. Its range includes predatory fish, carp-like species and salmonids, such as trout and other members of the salmon family.

The company emphasizes careful preparation, veterinary-supervised handling and regular health checks by the Fish Health Service in Giessen. Orders are transported in specialist vehicles equipped for gentle delivery, with freight-free delivery available above specified order values and distances. Customers can also collect orders and may arrange to borrow transport equipment. A modern holding facility can store up to 40 tonnes of fish, helping the team prepare mixed orders and serve customers efficiently.

The wider family business also operates Segelschule Rehbach, offering sailing courses, trips and boat rental at the Edersee.
