Fit for Life Foundation is dedicated to promoting healthy aging and independent mobility for older individuals in rapidly aging societies around the world. Through our annual Fit for Life Awards program, we offer financial support and international recognition to innovative NGOs and social enterprises that strive to create a healthier aging world. Furthermore, sedentary lifestyles contribute to poor health and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Surprisingly, over 80% of American adults and 50% of Europeans of all ages do not meet the recommended levels of physical activity.
