## Description

FitLot is a New Orleans-based nonprofit organization on a mission to strengthen communities through outdoor fitness parks. They believe that every individual should have access to a cost-free public exercise space within walking distance of their homes, promoting a more active and healthy lifestyle. FitLot works closely with communities to help them plan, build, and activate outdoor fitness parks. Their partnership with Landscape Structures Inc., a premier playground equipment manufacturer, ensures the production of high-quality fitness spaces for any community in America. Their team, led by Executive Director Adam Mejerson and Operations Director Danielle Trezek, is dedicated to creating a positive impact. FitLot's vision began in New Orleans, as they recognized the potential for outdoor fitness parks to revitalize communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. To support FitLot's efforts and stay connected, individuals can find updates and resources on their website. Whether it's finding a FitLot, becoming a coach, or making a donation, FitLot provides opportunities for everyone to get involved and contribute to building healthier communities.
