## Description

Five Nations Roller Derby is the premier organization supporting flat track roller derby across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Established in 2015, it organizes and oversees the Five Nations Roller Derby Championships, one of Europe’s largest interleague tournaments, adhering to established rulesets from the WFTDA, MRDA, and JRDA. With over 50 participating leagues from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, the championship structure allows for competitive play with a tiered system that promotes fairness and excitement.

Throughout the year, teams battle it out in various tiers, culminating in a playoffs weekend to crown the ultimate champions. The league benefits from a dedicated team of officials and volunteers who are passionate about the sport and committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Through initiatives like mental health awareness and community involvement, Five Nations Roller Derby not only showcases the athleticism of its players but also builds a strong community around the sport.
