## Description

FIW, or Forschungsschwerpunkt Internationale Wirtschaft, is a premier research initiative based in Austria, focusing on international economics. This collaborative project involves distinguished institutions such as the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, the Universität Wien, and the Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, among others. FIW strives to advance knowledge in international trade and economic policies, supporting researchers and practitioners with a comprehensive platform for exploring economic data and topics relevant to global trade dynamics.

The organization offers a wide range of services including access to economic databases, workshops, and conferences aimed at fostering discussions on pressing issues like geopolitical fragmentation and trade regulations. Their publications, such as working papers and policy briefs, provide valuable insights into contemporary economic challenges, such as environmental impacts of manufacturing and international monetary policy cooperation.
