Fjorden is a cutting-edge camera company based in Oslo, Norway. Our team is composed of passionate scientists, photographers, designers, engineers, and software developers who all share a love for photography. Our ultimate goal is to create the world's greatest smartphone camera system.

Inspired by a magical moment in 1983 when our founder, Victor, fell in love with his father's Rollei 35 camera, Fjorden was born. With years of experience shooting professional photos on DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, Victor wanted to bring the same level of control and quality to the iPhone.

In 2021, we launched Fjorden on Kickstarter, and the response was overwhelming. We exceeded our funding goal, raising more than $500,000 from thousands of photographers worldwide. If you're curious about our journey, check out our Kickstarter video!

At Fjorden, we are committed to the environment. We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of our revenues to environmental causes. We are also Certified Climate Neutral, offsetting 100% of our carbon emissions throughout our production and shipping processes.

Dr. Victor Henning, our Founder & CEO, brings a wealth of expertise to Fjorden. With a background in scientific collaboration and a Ph.D. from Bauhaus University Weimar, he is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography.
