## Description

Flamingo is a proudly New Zealand-owned and operated electric scooter and bike-share brand, offering a convenient way to travel around participating cities. Customers can find available Flamingo scooters through the app, scan a scooter’s QR code to begin a ride, and use the app to access the service. Riding instructions recommend pushing off before engaging the throttle once the scooter reaches 5 km/h, and using the front and rear brakes to stop. Riders are also asked to park considerately, keeping paths and driveways clear.

Flamingo operates in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Tauranga, with additional locations listed through its city information. The brand supports more accessible travel with community and student discounts, gift cards and merchandise. For workplaces, it offers free training sessions to encourage active and sustainable transport. These sessions include a safety briefing and an opportunity for team members to learn to ride a Flamingo e-scooter and/or e-bike safely. The Flamingo app is available for iOS and Android.
