## Description

Flare is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for data-intensive applications. Its data protocols are built into the network and benefit from its economic security, helping developers connect decentralized applications with information from external blockchains and real-world APIs. Core services include the Flare Data Connector for accessing blockchain events, the Flare Time Series Oracle for decentralized price feeds, and Flare Confidential Compute, which provides signed results from registered, hardware-isolated environments without publishing the underlying data. Flare also offers FAssets, which bring assets without native smart contract support, such as XRP, into decentralized finance, and Flare Smart Accounts for controlling assets from XRPL and executing on Flare. Users can participate through staking, delegation, and onchain governance, while developers can access documentation, technical support, network tools, and grants. The ecosystem provides resources for building with languages including Solidity, JavaScript, Python, Rust, and Go. Flare supports community activity through events, educational resources, and ecosystem updates.
