## Description

Fundación Flavio Machicado Viscarra, located in La Paz, Bolivia, is a cultural institution dedicated to fostering a rich appreciation for music and literature. Established from the vision of Dn. Flavio Machicado Viscarra in the 1930s, its centerpiece, "Las Flaviadas," features weekly musical appreciation sessions that celebrate universal music.

The foundation also offers a vast library with over 20,000 free-to-access books and newspapers, enabling the community to explore a wealth of knowledge. Its historical archive serves as a crucial resource for researchers delving into Bolivia's social and political contexts across three generations.

In addition, the foundation provides various services, including book loans, digitalization of materials for subscribers, and assistance from research aides who can help enhance academic inquiries. With a commitment to promoting an engaged civil society, the foundation invites individuals to participate in its initiatives, making it a pivotal hub for cultural and intellectual growth in Bolivia.
