## Description

Fleisher/Ollman is a renowned Philadelphia art gallery established in 1952, dedicated to showcasing contemporary artists and self-taught masters from the 20th century. Located at 915 Spring Garden St, the gallery has evolved from its origins as the Little Gallery to become a significant player in the contemporary art scene, highlighting works beyond mainstream conventions. Under the leadership of owner John Ollman since 1997, the gallery offers an eclectic mix of folk, African, Oceanic, pre-Columbian, and Native American art, alongside modern American vernacular artists like Felipe Jesus Consalvos and the Philadelphia Wireman.

Fleisher/Ollman is also recognized for its pioneering exhibitions of artists such as Henry Darger and Sister Gertrude Morgan, and for advocating the significance of self-taught art in a contemporary context. The gallery engages with developmental disability studio programs, representing artists like Julian Martin and expanding its artistic narrative. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, Fleisher/Ollman continues to contribute to major collections in prominent museums, asserting its influence in both national and international art markets.
