## Description

Fletch Scholarship Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, that awards merit scholarships to students who lead. Founded in 2022, the organization distinguishes its approach from name, image, and likeness (NIL) collectives: it selects students for their leadership, service, and impact rather than their statistics or ability to attract deals. Fletch looks for students who already inspire others, contribute to their communities, and make life better for the people around them.

Students can apply for scholarships, while universities can partner with Fletch to support the program and donors can contribute to its work. The foundation says that more than 90 cents of every dollar goes to scholarship recipients. It describes its selection process as independent and merit-based, and publishes organizational filings through its transparency resources. Fletch also shares insights on topics including NIL policy and collectives. Through scholarships and partnerships, the foundation aims to give recognition and financial support to students whose contributions demonstrate leadership, service, and meaningful impact.
