The Flint River Watershed Coalition is a membership organization based in Flint, MI. Our mission is to promote citizen stewardship of our natural resources by providing our members with the knowledge and resources needed to protect local water quality and watershed habitat. We offer a range of products and services to help achieve this goal.

Get outside and explore the Flint River Watershed through activities like paddling, fishing, biking, and walking. Learn about the important role of watersheds and discover the diverse wildlife that calls this area home. We also provide information on the cleanliness of the water and the threats it faces, including the Flint water crisis.

Our work extends to community engagement, environmental monitoring, and clean-up efforts. We have chapters such as Fli River Anglers, Friends of the Flint River Trail, and Lapeer Chapter Corridor Alliance. We offer opportunities for volunteering and host various events throughout the year.
