## Description

Floor Feestdagen is the annual village festival of Schermerhorn, bringing residents and visitors together for a free weekend of entertainment, community activities and local tradition. The event is organized around a changing theme and features a varied program for all ages. Highlights include the Floormarkt, where visitors can browse vintage items, second-hand goods, toys, books and handmade creations, as well as a free-market area for registered participants. The festival also hosts the Floor Truckershow, showcasing classic and modern trucks and other distinctive vehicles, alongside music, food and family activities. The program may include children’s entertainment, games, bingo, performances, a village meal and a closing party with a cover band. A local lottery raises support for festival activities, with prizes donated by businesses and residents. Floor Feestdagen also invites volunteers to help with catering, activities, ticket sales, technical work and event setup. Local organizations and businesses can contribute through sponsorship, helping sustain this community-focused celebration in Schermerhorn.
