## Description

The Florida Inventors Hall of Fame is a statewide initiative dedicated to honoring inventors whose achievements have advanced quality of life in the United States. By celebrating innovation and scientific discovery, it promotes a culture of creativity, supports economic growth, and encourages investment in Florida. The Hall of Fame has recognized 96 inventors, who collectively hold more than 5,700 patents; two inductees are Nobel laureates.

Its programs and resources connect the public with Florida’s history of invention and its continuing innovation ecosystem. Visitors can explore inductee profiles, search inventors by name or region, learn about past and upcoming induction ceremonies, and watch videos featuring inventors and their work. The Florida Inventors Hall of Fame Museum, located at the USF Research Park in Tampa, presents an engaging collection of inductees’ inventions, with a virtual museum also available. Through IGNITE outreach, curriculum resources, events, and educational media, the organization encourages the next generation of problem-solvers and change-makers. It also invites supporters to contribute as donors or sponsors.
