## Description

**Florida Road Races** is a prominent family-owned race management company based in the scenic Tampa Bay area, dedicated to promoting an active lifestyle through well-organized running events. Founded in 1979 by Chris and Rya Lauber, the brand has gained a reputation for providing “runner-friendly” races while showcasing Florida's beautiful beach communities. In 2022, Mike and Elaine Clark, experienced race directors with over 20 years in event production, took over the management of several key races, including the Ft. De Soto Distance Classic and the Florida Halloween Distance Classic. Their commitment to quality and community is evident in their motto, “Whatever It Takes!” Florida Road Races offers a variety of events, including marathons, half marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks, catering to diverse runner interests. They continue their collaboration with the Laubers for select races and aim to expand their offerings within the region, solidifying Florida Road Races as a cornerstone of the local running community. Join them for an exhilarating race experience!
